STOP CHILD LABOUR

Child labour is the empolyement done by the children at very early stage...it is very common around the world since decades.people take work from the children whom even cant speak properly..
sometimes buy them by paying a small amount to their parents for their precious gift (a child) by God or sometimes parents become so helpless to afford the expense of thier child and sold them. many laws are made on it but the law makers are the best law destroyers in this world..
in a recent newspaper i read a news that a child died due to pulling heavy weight which fall on him.i felt so pitty that if in a free country where children are not save so how we are free and what we are doing..
y we cant do anything even many people never read that story because its not related to them and i also like to highlite the neglegance of media that y they dont show any response on that where the Farah Hamid Dogar case was become the main issue at tht time because the child is nobody just a poor son of a middle class family . that child must also have dreams that he will b a doctor or engineer in future or he may even dont know abt that what an engineer or doctor do???
its a circle of insane and irresponsible people who only speaks to highlite themselves can do nething....

WORLD DIABATES DAY

Without diabetes education, people with diabetes are less prepared to take informed decisions, make behavioural changes, address the psychosocial issues presented by diabetes and, ultimately, may be ill-equipped to manage their diabetes effectively. Poor management will result in reduced health outcomes and an increased likelihood of developing complications. Education is therefore of the utmost importance in the prevention of diabetes complications and central to the World Diabetes Day campaign. The role of the diabetes educator is of critical importance within the diabetes care team. The educator enables people with diabetes to manage their diabetes-related health to the best of their ability so that choices and actions are based upon informed judgement.
Most people with diabetes cannot access diabetes education due to factors such as cost, distance, and the lack of appropriate services. Many more may be unaware of the services that do exist or perhaps not convinced of the benefits that diabetes education can bring. They may feel, for example, that interaction with their physician provides all the education they need. The World Diabetes Day campaign will promote the importance of structured diabetes education programmes as key to the prevention and control of diabetes and advocate for increased opportunities for diabetes education within healthcare systems and communities.
Diabetes education is particularly lacking in developing countries. Even in developed countries, many people cannot access education because there are not enough educators or centres to cope with the rising number of people with diabetes. The International Diabetes Federation is working to identify and fill the gaps in the provision of diabetes education worldwide. In 2003, the Federation produced International Standards for Diabetes Education, which will be revised and updated in 2009.
IDF’s educational framework encompasses action for change on multiple fronts, including a commitment to establishing a network of recognized IDF centres of education that can advance the development of diabetes education in every region. IDF has been involved extensively in promoting diabetes education by developing and promoting the international standards and curricula in various languages, providing education through regional associations, providing education materials, lobbying, and disseminating the evidence.
Diabetes education is best provided by a multidisciplinary team. While multidisciplinary education is available in some countries, in many others it is not available and its value is not fully recognized by the medical profession. The World Diabetes Day campaign sets out to challenge this. It is hoped that the awareness raised by the campaign will encourage healthcare systems everywhere to recognize the need to provide structured diabetes education and help establish access to skilled diabetes education as the right of every person with diabetes.

The warning signs* of diabetes include:

Frequent urination
Excessive thirst
Increased hunger
Weight loss
Tiredness
Lack of interest and concentration
Vomiting and stomach pain (often mistaken as the flu)
A tingling sensation or numbness in the hands or feet
Blurred vision
Frequent infections
Slow-healing wounds

Diabetes is a global problem with devastating human, social and economic impact. Today more than 250 million people worldwide are living with diabetes. Each year another 7 million people develop diabetes.

13 FRIDAY....MYTH OR REALITY??

It was Friday, October 13th, 1307, the pope was Clement, and King Phillip of France.
King Phillip owed the Knights Templar a great deal of money from loans he'd taken out. There were rumors that the the Templars had a huge treasure At thei main comanderie at Paris, and King Phillip was a greedy. He sent sealed orders throughout France to be opened on the morning of Friday October 13th 1307. the orders commanded the arrest of all Knights Templar, and the seizure of all their property. It was all done on trumped up charges.
In fact there is documentation that the Templars were later absolved of all the charges against them, though it was too late for them. a very large number were executed, and the grand master of the order was publically burned at the stake

ANOTHER BELIEVE:
The number 13 has been shrouded in mystery for hundreds of years and believe this stems from the ancient Egyptians where they believed your life had 13 stages, 12 which were living stages and then the 13th, the afterlife. 13 in essence symbolized death.

ANOTHER BELEIVE:
th usually 12 is considered a perfect number, a magic number, a complete number, and 13=12+1. In most mythologies (and also in the Bible) when there are 13 persons at a table one has evil thoughts (Judas, Loki...and the lists goes on)
Friday was chosen because it appears many bad things happened Friday, and also this combination Friday 13 seemed to be rather rare. So this is the answer.

ANALYSING:
its something that's always brought to peoples attention we automatically think it will be a bad day and so it ends up that way. If you go around thinking negative people pick up on it etc

dedicated to all my friends :)

Make sure you read all the way down to the last sentence. (Most importantly the last sentence)

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper

His Father gave him a bag of nails

and told him that every time he lost his

temper, he must hammer a nail into the back

of the fence.

The first day the boy had
driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next
few weeks, as he learned to control his
anger, the number of nails hammered daily

gradually dwindled down. He discovered
it was easier to hold his temper than to
drive those nails into the fence.
Finally the ! day came when the boy didn't
lose his temper at all. He told his father
about it and the father suggested that the
boy now pull out one nail for each day that he
was able to hold
his temper.
The days passed and the young boy was finally
able to tell his father that all the nails
were gone. The father took his son by the
hand and led him to the fence He said, "You
have done well, my son, but look at the
holes in the fence. The fence will never be
the same. When you say things in anger,
they leave a scar just like this one. You can put
a knife in a man and draw it out.
It won't matter how many times you say "I'm
sorry", the wound is still there. A verbal
wound is as bad as a physical one.

Friends are very rare jewels, indeed.
They make you smile and encourage you to succeed.
They lend an ear, they share words of praise
and they always want to open their hearts to us."

YOU ARE MY FRIEND AND I AM HONORED!

good story....must read!!!!!!!!

Once upon a time there was an island ,

where all the feelings lived together .

One day there was a storm in the sea and the island was about to get drowned.

Every feeling was scared but Love made a boat to escape.

Every feeling boarded the boat . Only 1 feeling was left.

Love got down to see who it was..

It was EGO..
Love tried and tried but ego wasn't moving also the water was rising.

Every one asked love to leave him and come in the boat, but love was made to love.

At last all the feelings escape and Love dies with ego on the island..

Love Dies because of EGO .

DISCOVERYING A ENORMOUS GROUND (MASS COMMUNICATION)

Mass communication is something a very different field as compared to others and without any doubts I believe the present age is the age of technologies and communication and for this modern age mass comm. has made the lives uncomplicated.
I want t share my experience of being a mass comm. Student, I was a science graduate suddenly I changed my field and entered in this field I still remember when I took admission I thought it was about TV only but when I entered I found a huge ground of knowledge.I am telling this in order to share some knowledge to those who also understand mass comm as i did, As it has many braches to study like print media includes newspaper & magazines, electronic media includes TV, radio & internet, it has research work, advertising, online journalism, P.R and a lot more.
One thing which I never noticed before and I love to do is to analysis the situation and to disparage politics and government 
Its all due to mass communication and I m glad to be the student of such an astonishing and outstanding field to study, I groomed myself a lot in this fiel.
for me the true meanig of mass comm is "TO TAKE WORLD IN HANDS"

Court orders Google to pay woman as fine

A Brazilian judge has ordered Google to pay 5,000 reais to a woman for not removing offensive comments about her posted on the Orkut website.
The US-based company was liable because it did not remove the postings on the social networking site.
Marco said Google was not to blame for the statements, but it should have pulled the postings when the woman asked that they be removed due to their "offensive" content.
Google did not remove the postings until the court issued an initial order in favour of the unidentified plaintiff.
The US tech giant was initially ordered to pay 10,000 reais, but Marco said in his latest ruling that the sum was "excessive".
Google's public relations firm said the company did not have a comment because it had not yet reviewed the ruling.

NASA probes smash into moon to search for water

NASA smacked two spacecraft into the lunar south pole on Friday morning in a search for hidden ice. Instruments confirm that a large empty rocket hull barreled into the moon at 7:31 AM, followed four minutes later by a probe with cameras taking pictures of the first crash. But the big live public splash people anticipated didn't quite happen. Screens got fuzz and no immediate pictures of the crash or the six-mile plume of lunar dust that the mission was all about. The public, which followed the crashes on the Internet and at observatories, seemed puzzled.

COURAGE OF KENYAN WOMEN

I analys the situation of kenyan women in this picture tht they worked extremly hard to meet the basic needs of life...there courage is outstanding and saluting...Kenyan women having the courage and knowledge to improve the situation in Kenya and it sure is not the lack of trying that prevents their ideas from succeeding.
In almost every violent conflict, women suffer most. It was no surprise that most people killed in the church in Eldoret were women and children. Violation of women’s rights has been a huge problem even in times of peace in Kenya. Within this current conflict situation, rape is being used as weapon, one that destroys women’s lives and their families.
It is of importance that these atrocities towards women are not only attributed to the times of conflict, but to be mapped as they occur and not forgotten and charges brought against those that committed them...
It would be encouraging to know that the voices already raised by these women of distinction, voices of credibility, voices that have been appreciated and rewarded by the rest of the world, are not ignored by the people they are now addressing.

Life is simple. You are born, you do your thing, and you die. It's easy. Anyone can do it." - Joan K., a young Kenyan business woman commenting on people who are confused about life
