Independence day was celebrated in Jinnah University for women(JUW) with full enthusiasm, the prog was based on national song competition, it was organized by media cell with the presence of almost 250 to 300 crowd.All students were wearing green dupattas,bangles,braclets and badges to show their patriotism.The function was started at 10am with 13 participants and the judges were the teachers of different depts(mass comm,zoo &botany)
After 5 performances cake cutting ceremony was occured which was cut by VC Noor-us-Saba Chaugtai, the girls read national anthem,then again started the program.
The prog ended on prize distribution and wishing independence day speech by the VC.
